RECOVERY RADIO TO FEATURE SEXUAL ADDICTION ON NEXT WEEKLY BROADCAST SATURDAY NIGHT

LOS ANGELES -- June 24, 2005 -- Worldwide Radio Network's weekly call-in Recovery Radio Show and its two co-hosts will place a special focus on sexual addictions Saturday night during its regularly scheduled live broadcasts to Los Angeles, Phoenix and Las Vegas, network officials reported today. Carried on the ABC Satellite network, the show also can be heard via the Internet at www.recoveryradioshow.com. The remarkable new program will enter the Orlando Metro Market in July and anticipates expansion to others in the near future.

Headquartered in Aliso Viejo, Calif. near Los Angeles, producers of the network's newest entry into the highly competitive live call-in radio market claim listenership has increased dramatically since its inaugural broadcast in March. Although Arbitron numbers on market share are not available, network executives said the increasing numbers of callers attempting to reach the show during broadcasts, and the variety of geographic locations from which those calls were originating, was proof enough that its listenership was skyrocketing.

"Although it's always hard to quantify listenership even when there are Arbitron ratings, we know that the demand is there for this type of show because we can chart the numbers of calls we receive," said Stephen Groth, MD, a network executive and show Co-Host. "In fact, since we've added another hour, we are discussing the show with a number of top talk radio stations in still more markets. We will enter the Orlando Metro Market on July 2, 2005 on WORL, and other new stations are in the wings.”

It has been the dramatic nature of the calls that seem to have captured the public's attention and that of station managers in other metropolitan areas, Groth noted. He said an announcement was imminent on at least one additional new market and possibly others. Robert Munck, a recovering alcoholic and addict with 14 years of sobriety, rounds out the hosting lineup each week.

These and all Recovery Radio Show staff are in recovery, providing the show and its listeners with a “been-there” knowledge and perspective, to better address the pervasive but still-hidden public health issue of addiction.

The Recovery Radio Show now airs live from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Pacific Daylight Time) every Saturday over KKLA-FM (99.5) in Los Angeles; KNUU-AM (970) in Las Vegas; and KFNX-AM (1100) in Phoenix.
